GREEN TEAS

While green tea is well known for its health benefits, it also has a reputation for being bitter, but in 98% of cases, this bitterness is caused by poorly prepared infusion. In fact, novice consumers often tend to overdose on tea: only a level teaspoon is enough, a full spoonful is more than double the required dose. Freshly brewed green tea is light yellow in color. Dark, the color indicates too much tea or too long an infusion because only 2 to 3 minutes are enough. Finally, it is not recommended to infuse your green tea in boiling water, as this cooks the leaf, resulting in a slight bitterness. Let the water cool for a minute before pouring it over the leaves.
