A superb tea with large, fleshy leaves and golden buds. The Yunnan region is a mountainous region, most of the plantations are located between 1000 and 1500 m above sea level. There are around 250 different varieties of tea. Dayeh tea plants (the name of the majority variety in this region) produce tasty teas, reminiscent of mocha with very sweet honey notes, without astringency. Yunnan teas are diuretic and known for their beneficial effects. It is also the region of origin of the famous PU-ERH.
